Reports are out claiming that Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is delighted for Mateo Kovacic over his instant impact.
The young Croatia international again saw action in victory at Espanyol on Saturday.
The former Tottenham star said: “He’s a great player. He has bags of talent and quality. He did very well today when he came on.
“He needs to keep working but I’m sure he is going to enjoy a lot of success with Real Madrid.”
