According to AS Roma club director Giampaolo Montali, Manchester City target Mirko Vucinic is set to stay with the Italian club.
The 26-year old Montenegrin striker had become a reported target for the Eastlands club but Montali has confirmed he will not be departing the Stadio Olimpico.
Montali also said that French defender Philippe Mexes who has been linked with Juventus will also be staying with AS Roma.
Montali told Sky Italia : “Next season’s team is this one,”.
“There could be the departures of a few younger players to allow them to gain experience, but important players like Mexes or Vucinic won’t leave.”
