According to reports from Sky Sports, Ligue 1 club Montpellier are in advanced talks with Newcastle United regarding the transfer of Remy Cabella.
The 24-year old French international playmaker was a target for the Magpies in January but the French club opted to keep him at the Stade de la Mosson.
However, more recent reports suggest that La Paillade and the Toon are close to agreeing a deal believed to be worth around €10million.
Cabella is almost certain to leave Montpellier this summer with St James’ Park his most obvious destination.
