Nicklas Bendtner Sign £2.5million A Year Deal With Arsenal

Danish International striker Nicklas Bendtner has agreed a new £2.5million-a-year contract at Arsenal and the deal is an incredible turnaround for the striker, now age 21, whose Emirates career had been blighted by bust-ups with former team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor.

But Arsene Wenger has now sold Adebayor to Manchester City for £25m and Bendtner is thriving without him and Wenger hinted before the Celtic game that team spirit was better than ever following the departures of Adebayor and centre-half Kolo Toure, who would not speak to his fellow defender William Gallas.

Bendtner’s £50,000-a- week deal is believed to be a three-year extension to the two years he had remaining, taking him through to 2014 and an Arsenal insider revealed that it is incredible to see the difference in Nicklas and that he has a great new attitude and the departure of Adebayor seems to have given him a lot more belief in himself.

Keeper Manuel Almunia also insisted that Arsenal will prove that they are a super-power against Manchester United and City and said that very soon the club will have two Manchester games and in those games people will see Arsenal’s real power.
