Benfica striker Nuno Gomes is being linked with MLS club New England Revolution.
According to revs-american-soccer-news.com, the 34-year old Portugal international is attracting interest from the Revs amidst rumours that he has actually held talks with the club.
Gomes is no stranger to MLS speculation with reports linking him with Toronto FC back in late 2008 but nothing eventuated then.
Now, however, the link with New England is strong and Gomes fits the bill as a potential Designated Player for the club, especially with the Boston area a popular region for Portuguese people.
