It has been revealed that Orlando City SC have denied claims that they are looking to sign Javier Hernandez.
Reports emerged this week that the MLS expansion club were eyeing an ambitious move for the Real Madrid striker who is on loan with the Spanish giants from Manchester United.
It was suggested that the Lions were seeking a June transfer for Chicharito in order to see him link up with Brazilian great Kaka in Florida.
However, Orlando City president Phil Rawlins dismissed the speculation, claiming that it is merely ‘paper talk’.
Mexico international Chicharito joined Real from United last summer but has managed just four goals in 21 appearances in all competitions for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
He is expected to return to Old Trafford when his loan spell ends at the end of the season.
