Maicon Douglas Sisenando, commonly known as Maicon was born July 26, 1981 in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, Brazil and is a Brazilian football player, currently playing for Italian Serie A club Internazionale. He plays as a right sided wing-back.

A talented right sided fullback, Maicon debuted for Cruzeiro in 2001 and after two successful seasons in Brazil which included winning a championship and being called up for the Brazilian national team in 2003, he was signed by French club Monaco in June 2004 after originally signing for Manchester United but was later refused a work permit.
