Crystal Palace strolled to an easy 5-1 win over Newcastle United as Yannick Bolasie scored twice.
Newcastle surprised everyone, including themselves, when Papiss Cisse broke the offside trap to glance in Daryl Janmaat’s cross.
Palace were level after a couple of minutes, and ahead shortly after when James McArthur’s shot deflected off Paul Dummett into the net, and then Bolasie seized on poor defending to finish from close range.
Just before half-time, Wilfried Zaha made it three when his volley into the ground looped over Rob Elliot.
In the second half, Newcastle needed just three minutes to add a fourth goal when Bolasie toed in from a Damien Delaney header back across goal. With seconds remaining, McArthur added Palace’s fifth to complete the rout.
