Big-spending Paris St Germain were sent crashing out of the Europa League despite snatching a late home win over a much-changed Athletic Bilbao tonight.
An Inigo Perez own goal and Guillaume Horau’s penalty in the final five minutes sealed the win, but the capital club failed to go through after Salzburg came from two goals down to win 3-2 at Slovan Bratislava.
