It has been revealed that Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling is happy with his role with the team as long as he is contributing to positive results.
The 20-year-old England international has already scored six goals for City in all competitions since his summer move to the club from Liverpool and is happy to continue simply doing his bit.
“As long as I’m contributing to the team, which I think I am, that’s the most important thing,” he said.
“I might not be a 9 or 10 out of 10 every game, but as long as I’m helping the team win, that’s the most important thing. I feel like I’m doing well.
“This is a great team with great players. We can switch virtually the whole 11 players and it would still be a top team. I’m happy to be in this team and working with players like this. It can only develop my game. Hopefully in the future I can learn even more from them.”
