It has been reported that Raheem Sterling is feeling more settled and relaxed after adjusting to life at Manchester City.
That is the sentiment of England captain Wayne Rooney who believes the 20-year-old winger will be a much more valuable asset to his country now he is fully focused on football again.
“You can see he’s settled now,” Rooney said of Sterling who joined City from Liverpool for £49million in the summer transfer window.
“He’s happy, I’m sure.
“He’s got the move he wanted. He’s started the season excellently and settled in really well at Manchester City.
“When you are going through what he did, trying to leave Liverpool, it can be quite difficult. But he seems a lot more relaxed and settled now, which is good for us.”
