Interesting news are out and it has been reported that Racing Santander midfielder Sergio Canales is being tracked by Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Local Spanish newspapers have reported that Real Madrid are chasing the 18 year-old, who did see action in the weekend’s 1-0 defeat to the Madrid giants.
It is believed that Real Madrid intends to sign Canales in January before loaning him back to Racing for the remainder of this season and possibly the next, in order for the youngster to continue his development.
However, Racing president Francisco Pernia is reluctant to sell and has already been in touch with the Canales family about new contract talks.
