Spanish giants Real Madrid have announced that Brazilian midfielder Kaka is returning to his homeland to continue his injury rehab.
The former AC Milan ace underwent a knee operation at the start of the season and has been sidelined ever since.
A statement on Madrid’s official website reads: “It will be an objective evaluation to determine the medical treatment to be followed in the final stages of recovery.
“The Sanitas-Real Madrid Medical Services, Doctors Marc Martens and Turibio Leite, and Kaka are in agreement and completely coordinated regarding the different recovery stages that must be tackled.
“The player will return to Madrid to finish his recovery process after receiving the test results.”
