Spanish giants Real Madrid has been reported to be ready to rival cash rich Manchester City for £65m-rated Franck Ribery.
Manchester City was reported to be planning a British record summer swoop for Bayern Munich’s French international star.
However it is reported that Real Madrid are still in pole position to sign the French ace.
Zinedine Zidane, right-hand man to president Florentino Perez, has confirmed that Real Madrid will be back for him next year.
France legend Zidane, who has the same agent as Ribery, told reporters that Real Madrid hopes to sign Ribery next year.
He also added that it is his wish to sign Ribery from Bayern Munich.
