Reports are surfacing in Spain that Real Madrid want to close the signing of Benfica winger Angel di Maria as soon as possible.
Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira would prefer to wait until July 1 for book-keeping purposes, but it is believed that Real Madrid want to announce the transfer immediately.
According to AS, the two clubs have agreed a €25 million fee, with Di Maria verbally agreeing on a five-year Real contract.
It is believed that only a signature from Di Maria is needed to seal the deal.
