Reports are out claiming that Real Madrid are in advanced talks to sign Real Zaragoza defender Jesus Vallejo.
The young centre-half has been likened to Barcelona legend Carles Puyol and is also interesting the Treble champs.
However, AS claims that Real Madrid are close to striking a €6 million deal with Zaragoza for Callejo.
Real would sign him now and plan to loan the defender back to Zaragoza for the new season.
Callejo was a member of Spain’s triumphant U19 Euros squad this month.
