Sensational news are out and it has been reported that Real Madrid are weighing up a swap offer for AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato.
Italian super agent Mino Raiola, who took Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Inter Milan to Barcelona last summer, has confirmed that Real Madrid and Chelsea are interested in Pato.
Local newspapers have also reported that this has opened the door to Real using Karim Benzema as a bargaining chip in negotiations for the Brazilian.
Pato would welcome a move to Real, where he would be reunited with good friend Kaka.
The stumbling block could be Benzema, whose agent insisted last week he was determined to succeed in Madrid.
