It has been reported that Borussia Dortmund priced Marco Reus out of a move to Manchester United last month, it has been revealed.
BILD claims that United approached BVB in the final days of the summer market for the Germany midfielder.
BVB were willing to sell – and Reus was keen – but United’s offer fell short of the Germans’ valuation.
United’s final offer for Reus was €65 million, but BVB refused to budge from their €80 million assessment.
It’s suggested Reus remains ‘in the picture’ at United, though they will face competition from Real Madrid and Barcelona.
