It has been reported that Manchester United medical chiefs are upbeat over Luke Shaw’s chances of making it back before the end of the season.
The Daily Express claims that Shaw has had surgery on his double leg fracture.
And sources close to the Manchester United and England defender are saying he could be back playing again before the end of the season.
The initial plan was for Shaw to have the operation to set his leg when he returned to Manchester.
But he underwent immediate surgery last night in the Eindhoven hospital where he was taken after suffering the horrific injury in the Champions league clash with PSV Eindhoven which United lost 2-1.
