It has been reported that Manchester United striker James Wilson has attracted loan enquiries from 20 different clubs.
The Daily Mail says more than 20 clubs enquired for Wilson last week when United indicated they would be willing to let the 19-year-old move following the £36million purchase of Anthony Martial from Monaco.
Despite selling Javier Hernandez to Bayer Leverkusen and loaning Adnan Januzaj to Borussia Dortmund, they were ready to let Wilson go out on loan with view to a permanent move until a quick re-think on deadline day saw United officials re-assure the talented teenager he was still part of Louis van Gaal’s plans.
Wilson has played only 17 minutes of first team football since February and is frustrated at his lack of opportunities in the past year despite making a breakthrough under caretaker Ryan Giggs the previous season.
