Brazil international winger Robinho has dismissed speculation of a January transfer move to Spanish champions FC Barcelona by revealing that he is targeting the Premier League title with Manchester City.
The Champions League winners are reported to be weighing up a move for the £32.5million former Real Madrid forward but Brazil Robinho, now 25, has admitted that he is very impressed by the business done by City boss Mark Hughes this summer.
He also said that Manchester City have set their sights high this year and backed that up in the transfer market and that the club now have built a stronger squad than last year and can handle any team.
Robinho also went on to say that there have been some great additions to the team and now the players need to understand that they must be stronger mentally.
He also went on to say that City can be like that this season and have what it takes to go for the title.
He also ended by saying that the more he thinks about it, the more he believes that this year must be City’s year.
