Interesting transfer news are out and it has been reported that Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is eyeing Roma attacker Julio Baptista.
Brazilian international midfielder Baptista has just finished his second season at Roma but he struggled for goals last term, hitting the target just three times.
Baptista spent the 2006-07 season on loan at Arsenal – scoring a double against Spurs in the League Cup – and, according to Corriere dello Sport, Redknapp is interested in taking him back to north London.
It is said that ‘The Beast’ would cost Redknapp around £4million but the Spurs boss is likely to face competition from former England manager Steve McClaren, now in charge of Wolfsburg.
