Reports are out claiming that AS Roma manager Rudi Garcia has made it clear that the club is not about to offload Mattia Destro.
A trio of Premier League clubs including Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to be readying winter bids for the 23-year old striker but Garcia insists he will be going nowhere anytime soon.
“Mattia Destro is vital, he’ll score goals for us,” he said.
“I’m counting on him for the second half of the season. My squad has been specially constructed to deal with all the commitments we have during the season.”
Destro, who has been linked with a potential £20million shift to Spurs, has netted four goals in 14 Serie A appearances for the Giallorossi this season as they sit second on the Italian top flight table behind Juventus.
