Reports are out claiming that Arsenal’s hopes of securing Juventus defender Daniele Rugani have taken a hit after Sampdoria met with the player’s agent to broker a move to the Serie A outfit.
Italian publication Sportitalia is reporting Sampdoria’s interest in the 21-year-old is likely to scupper Arsenal’s hopes of luring the £13million-rated player to the Emirates Stadium.
It is understood Rugani is eager for a move away from the Bianconeri after receiving limited game time so far this campaign.
Juventus are said to be open to the prospect of allowing Rugani to temporarily leave the club on loan.
