We at TFM would like to congratulate Samuel Eto’o on being the first ever player to win three trophies in back to back seasons, it’s even more incredible considering he did it with two different clubs in two different leagues.
He won the the treble with Barcelona last season and also scored in the final against Man Utd, he played in the final against Bayern last night and although he didn’t score he was such an important player, working hard for the team and at times playing at rightback!.
Inter’s gain is Barca’s loss, they thought they Zlatan would be a better choice and they pratically gifted Eto’o to Inter Milan, and i think they regret it right now.
Mourinho was quick to see this and here’s what he said after signing Eto’o this season:

“Eto’o signing seems as an extraordinary deal to me. Do they say that the deal of the summer was the purchase of Kaká for 65 million or that of Cristiano Ronaldo for 100 million? Eto purchase is for me the transfer of the summer because Eto’o is not worth less than Ibrahimovic”, said Jose Mourinho.
Not to mention that Eto’o has won 3 Champions League medals now!.
