Samuel Eto’o Defends Inter Manager Rafael Benitez

Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o has dismissed concerns over new coach Rafa Benitez.

The treble winners got off to a poor start in Serie A, drawing 0-0 at the Stadio Dall’Ara on Monday evening.

The Cameroon striker said : “I think you all saw Bologna-Inter and realise it was a game that should’ve ended 5-0 for us, but their goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano was truly incredible,”.

Inter also lost the European Super Cup 2-0 to Atletico Madrid, but the temperamental striker is not concerned.

He added : “Our squad is growing exponentially and I can guarantee that Benitez is a great Coach. We will do very well together.”
