Reports are out claiming that Santi Cazorla has described teammate Alexis Sanchez as a key player for Arsenal following his match-winning brace on the weekend.
The Chile international attacker scored twice as the Gunners edged Reading 2-1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday to make it 22 goals in all competitions in his debut campaign in England and Cazorla wants even more from his colleague as the cup final on May 30 approaches.
“Let’s hope he keeps that up and scores twice in the final then,” said Cazorla.
“We are very happy for him. He is a key player for us, in a good moment and hopefully he will carry on scoring.
“Of course, we are all tired, so he is. He has the Copa America too at the end of the season but he just wants to play all of the time, as many games as you can give him. Now we have to rest and finish the season with the objectives we had at the start of the season.”
