It has been reported that Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has revealed his fellow French international Patrice Evra is still idolised at Old Trafford.
34-year-old left-back Evra spent nine seasons at United, making 273 Premier League appearances and winning multiple trophies, before being signed by Juventus last summer.
Schneiderlin said the legacy Evra left at United means he is still ‘unanimously loved’ by everyone at the Red Devils.
“Beckham, Scholes, Giggs and Cantona, of course, and then there’s Evra,” Schneiderlin told Le Parisien.
“When you speak to the people in Manchester, and all the French people need to know this, Patrice is an idol.
“He is someone who is unanimously loved by everyone; in the club, as well as outside of it.”
