Serbia 4-3 Cameroon – Goals & Highlights Video

Serbia gave their confidence a much-needed boost ahead of the World Cup by twice coming from behind to edge Cameroon in an entertaining encounter at the Crvena Zvezda Stadium in Belgrade.

Real Mallorca frontman Pierre Webo twice put the Africans ahead in the first quarter, but first Milos Krasic and then Dejan Stankovic got Radomir Antic’s side back on level terms.

Wolves midfielder Nenad Milijas gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot a minute before the break and Ajax forward Marko Pantelic stretched that advantage on the stroke of half-time.

Hamburg striker Eric Choupo-Moting pulled a goal back for Cameroon midway through the second half but they could not force the equaliser.

The win came as welcome relief in front of their own fans for Serbia, who returned home having unexpectedly lost 1-0 to New Zealand and drawn 0-0 with Poland during their training camp in Austria.

For Cameroon, the result was another disappointment following Tuesday’s 3-1 defeat to Portugal, during which skipper Samuel Eto’o was sent off.
