Interesting news are out and it has been reported that Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson expects Wayne Rooney to break the 30-goal barrier next season.
Rooney, now age 24, hit 34 goals last season and Sir Alex believes the best of the England international is still to come despite the Manchester United striker’s dire World Cup.
Boss Fergie said: “He had an improvement in terms of his timing and movement in the box and his positioning improved.
“He got us over 30 goals and if he does that again and adds a bit to his game then that is what we expect.
“The boy has got an incredible armoury of talent.
“But the most important thing he needs is maturity and, when he gets that, you’ll see the complete footballer.”
