Spain Wins The 2010 World Cup

The biggest under-achievers in world football has been finally crowned as world champions. Just as Paul the octopus predicted, Spain defeated the Netherlands to lift the 2010 world Cup.

0-0 after 90 minutes of play, Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta dramatically fired Spain to World Cup glory deep into extra-time to give Spain the win over Netherlands at Soccer City.

The match was played in front of 85,000 fans in Johannesburg and watched by an estimated 700 million more on television around the world.
