Reports are out claiming that Spartak Moscow coach Unai Emery says Juventus are asking too much for Felipe Melo.
Emery insists the 29 year old Brazilian international is not in his signing plans.
“It is a lie,” Spartak Moscow manager Emery told Tuttojuve.
“I absolutely deny the story of Spartak Moscow showing an interest in Felipe Melo. We absolutely cannot afford to give him the wages he is accustomed to.
“I know him and can say he is a good player, but Spartak cannot afford him and that is the end of the matter. It’s like asking if we wanted to sign Leo Messi.”
