Reports have emerged claiming that Hull City boss Steve Bruce is backing Arsenal youngster Isaac Hayden for big things.
Hayden, 21, made a total of 24 appearances for the Tigers during a season-long loan at the KC Stadium and Bruce hinted in January that he would like to make the move permanent.
Bruce responded on Twitter to Hayden’s farewell message posted on social media by saying: “Great lad with a big future in the game!!”
Hayden had said he had been privileged to have been a part of Bruce’s promotion-winning squad and gave the slightest of hints that a return to the club was not out of the question.
“Feel privileged to have been part of this team and to have played in a team of this quality throughout the season!” Hayden said.
“I can only say thank you to the fans for the warm welcome and support shown throughout the season, I hope whenever I played I did the shirt proud!
“Thanks for the memories Hull City, it will always have a place in my heart, and you never know what the future may bring….”
