Aston Villa midfielder Steve Sidwell created one of their goals in victory over Hull City – without even being on the field.
Sidwell will go down as the best ball boy in Villa history after his role in James Milner’s superb 29th-minute goal.
Tigers keeper Matt Duke raced out of his penalty area to head the ball out for a Villa throw-in but Sidwell, who was warming up on the touchline, caught the ball and threw it to pal Gabriel Agbonlahor.
With Duke hopelessly out of position, striker Agbonlahor took a quick throw and Milner coolly lobbed into the net from 25 yards.
Match of the Day host Gary Lineker said: “It was great quick-thinking. Sidwell should be able to claim an assist for that.”
