Reports are out claiming that Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard says Arsenal are a midfielder short if they’re to win the title.
BT Sport pundit Gerrard believes that decision will continue to cost Arsenal and their chances of silverware.
“This Arsenal team is littered with world class players and good players but they just seem to always fall that tiny bit short,” the former Liverpool captain said.
“Coquelin has been absolutely fantastic but for me, they don’t have enough players who go that extra mile and do that little bit of dirty work.
“Until they get that big leader in defence and another powerhouse in midfield, I think they’ll continue to come that little bit short.”
