It has been revealed that Everton hope to wrap up a deal for Tottenham midfielder Steven Pienaar today.
The Liverpool Echo claim that the 30 year old South Africa international is expected on Merseyside today to undergo a medical, after the Blues agreed a fee with Spurs for the midfielder over the weekend.
If all goes to plan, the former Ajax and Borussia Dortmund winger, will complete his permanent return to Goodison on Tuesday.
Pienaar’s agent Rob Moore confirmed the breakthrough in talks between Everton and the Londoners, when he published a blog on a website he promotes stating that the agreement had been reached.
