USA international striker Jozy Altidore’s World Cup has taken another hit after he was struck down with a stomach bug.
The 20-year old Villarreal man was forced out of Tuesday’s training session with the USA squad but head coach Bob Bradley expects him to be fit for Wednesday’s vital Group C clash with Algeria.
“Jozy just wasn’t feeling well He’ll be fine tomorrow,” Bradley said.
Altidore was nursing an ankle injury earlier in the tournament but fought it off to play a role in both of the USA’s group matches to date.
