Reports have emerged claiming that Tottenham are preparing to sell Andros Townsend this summer.
The London Evening Standard reported that Spurs are prepared to use Townsend as bait to secure a deal for Southampton star Morgan Schneiderlin.
Arsenal have been credited with a strong interest in Schneiderlin, as Arsene Wenger is keen to add a world-class midfielder to his ranks.
Spurs tried to sign the 25-year-old last summer but Southampton blocked a move.
But Mauricio Pochettino is ready to try his luck again; Spurs will try to sell Townsend or Benjamin Stambouli to fund a deal.
Chelsea are also thought to be interested, as they are looking to make a marquee signing.
