Reports are out claiming that Tottenham are in talks with Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato.
Representatives for Corinthians are in contact with Premier League clubs, with Chelsea and Arsenal mooted to have been sounded out about Pato.
UOL says Spurs have welcomed the approach and are keen to take Pato off Corinthians’ hands.
The Brazil striker would arrive as a replacement for new Villarreal signing Roberto Soldado.
Pato, since leaving AC Milan, has spent the past 18 months on-loan with Sao Paulo, where he has revived his career.
