Premier League club Tottenham FC have renewed their interest in Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari after he fell down the San Siro pecking order.
The Ghana international midfield star, now age 25, played under Spurs boss Harry Redknapp while they were at Portsmouth but moved to Italy last year in a £14million transfer.
However, the arrival of Wesley Sneijder and return to fitness of Esteban Cambiasso have seen Muntari’s chances limited at Inter and boss Jose Mourinho is ready to cash in.
Reports in the Italian press claim Redknapp could offer his former player the chance to join his White Hart Lane revolution when the January transfer window opens.
Muntari’s agent, Frank Schreier told reporters that the deal could happen and that the two clubs are still talking about the case.
