Great news for al Tottenham Hotspur fans as midfielder Luka Modric has stepped up his comeback from his broken leg injury.
Local newspapers have reported that Modric will be playing in a behind closed doors friendly for Tottenham on Tuesday.
The Croatia international has been sidelined since the 2-1 win over Birmingham in August after suffering the injury in a tackle with Blues midfielder Lee Bowyer.
It is reported that Modric has spent the last couple of weeks training with the youth team to help build up his fitness after missing the last three months of the season.
And the 24-year-old is hoping to win his race against time to be fit for the Premier League clash with struggling Wolves at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
