Reports are out claiming that Tottenham striker Harry Kane isn’t panicking over his lack of goals.
The England international striker has been incisive in front of goal on international duty, scoring against San Marino and Switzerland. It contrasts starkly with his form in a Spurs shirt, where he is goalless in his first five Premier League games.
Despite drawing a blank in a second-half cameo against Qarabag in the Europa League, Kane does not doubt that he will find the net soon.
“I came on for 30 minutes which was a good run-out, good for the fitness,” he told Goal. “I’ve just got to keep doing what I’m doing. I’m playing well. I’ve just got to keep getting in the right positions and the chances will come – and I’ll take them.
“Obviously we were disappointed to go behind – we didn’t start too well – but I thought we played quite well. We got the two goals quite early on and we just needed to finish the game off quite early, I thought.”
