AS Roma captain Francesco Totti has declared that he would consider a return to international football.
The Italy World Cup winner has revealed that he expects to make a decision by April next year in time for South Africa 2010.
Totti told in an interview that everybody is talking about it but in the end Lippi and himself will make the decision.
Totti added that he likes the fact that Lippi talks well about him as both of them always had a great relationship on and off the pitch.
Totti also revealed that the veterans has asked him to return to the national side and said that March or April will be the decisive month to see how he feels.
Totti also spoke about his new contract and the situation with his own club.
The midfielder said that the parties signed the papers and are just waiting for Roma to deposit it.
He added that he expected the team to be struggling but the team is worth Inter, Milan and Juventus and it deserves to stay at the top.
