Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt has revealed that he is keen to trial with Manchester United.
The 25-year old Jamaican sprinter, who defended his 100m Olympics gold medal at the London Games this week, says he has previously been to Old Trafford for a visit and is now looking to train with the team after defender Rio Ferdinand invited him via Twitter.
“Rio Ferdinand has tweeted me and says he will hook me up for a trial so I am looking forward to that,” Bolt told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I went to Old Trafford once, we didn’t talk extensively about me coming there, but Rio is going to set the meeting up and I will talk to Sir Alex Ferguson.”
