Interesting news are out and it has been reported that Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano has revealed that the club’s buying spree will continue after the capture of Benfica winger Angel di Maria.
The Benfica and Argentina international was confirmed as a Real Madrid signing yesterday.
Valdano told reporters that : “He was interesting us last season, but Jose Mourinho wanted a player of his characteristics and this accelerated our interest,”.
“He’s a player who meets all the conditions for a midfielder and can attack with great ability. He opens the pitch, has great pace and is also a very courageous guy. He will help a lot over of the season.”
Valdano added: “We are watching the market, but we are seeing a lot of high prices.
“But surely Di Maria will not be our last signing. We will do one or two more signings, no more.”
