It has been reported that Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal gave Ander Herrera and Marcos Rojo the weekend off.
The international week allowed Herrera to visit Burano, Venice, while Rojo headed to Disneyland Paris with his wife and daughter, says the Manchester Evening News.
United players are understood to have ‘had almost no time off in the last month’, and Van Gaal admitted the players ‘suffered’ in the last half-hour of the Champions League group stage win over Wolfsburg last week.
Rojo, who United could sell in January, has played just 135 minutes of first-team action this season and was only considered for selection by Van Gaal after the September international break.
