Reports are out claiming that Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany could be ruled out for the rest of the season.
The Belgium international was forced off at half-time of City’s 4-2 defeat at the hands of Manchester United on Sunday and it was later revealed that the defender has aggravated a thigh problem.
Now as a further blow to City, it has been reported that Kompany could miss up to a month of action due to the problem which would essentially end his campaign.
If indeed the City captain is ruled out, the duo of Martin Demichelis and Eliaquim Mangala will be the most likely partnership at the heart of Manuel Pellegrini’s defence.
