Reports are out claiming that West Ham are battling Tottenham for Olympique Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi.
The Sun says the Hammers are ready to make Batshuayi their marquee summer signing in a club record deal worth £31.5million, according to reports.
The Champions League hopefuls are looking to splash the cash as they prepare for life in the 60,000-seater Olympic Park stadium next season.
Representatives from east London are believed to have already held talks with Marseille, telling the Ligue 1 club they intend to and have the ability to meet the eye-watering valuation.
However, Tottenham are still very much interested in bringing Batshuayi to the Premier League, with Mauricio Pochettino looking to ease the burden on England star Harry Kane.
Arsenal are also said to be keen on the Belgium international star.
