Fulham striker Bobby Zamora created a bit of history, as his early strike put the Craven Cottage side in their first ever European semi-final as they easily swept aside the German champions Wolfsburg in the last eight of the Europa League.
The visitors made the greatest start possible, when in just 21 seconds Zamora found himself just inside the box with no defenders willing to make a tackle after the visitors played the ball forward, with Zoltan Gera finding Zamora in space. The England hopeful then coolly slotted home to give Fulham the away goal that boss Roy Hodgson would have been desperate for after the late goal they lost last week to the German champions.
