Interesting news are out and it has been reported that Xabi Alonso has urged Real Madrid to go for his former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
Alonso was the midfield partner of Steven Gerrard at Anfield before switching to the Bernabeu last summer.
Spaniard Alonso said: “Steven is a legend at Liverpool. I have a lot of respect for the club but it is clear he’s an awesome player. He has incredible quality.”
